Recommendations for a Newborn Photoshoot

  1. Bring a Pacifier and Bottle-Feed
Don’t forget to bring a pacifier and a bottle with milk (either expressed breast milk or formula). This can significantly ease the process of the photoshoot. If the baby needs to be fed, you can do so quickly without having to interrupt the session for a long breastfeeding break.
  2. Plan for the Family’s Arrival
Ideally, only the mother and baby should be present at the beginning of the photoshoot. Other family members who are participating, such as the father and siblings, can join later—about 1.5 hours into the session. This helps create a quiet and comfortable environment for the baby. In the meantime, the father and older siblings can enjoy some time at the nearby playground.
  3. Bring Colic Drops
If your baby takes colic drops, make sure to bring them along to the session.
